The family company POCAJT was founded in 1994, but it has been in operation as a trade company since 1967 already. The basic activity of the company is the production of manual household appliances and metal and plastic products.

VISION AND MISSION

The company has a short-, mid- and long-term vision. We expect to realize the short-term vision this year already, which means a 25 % sale and production growth annually. We wish to become the leading manufacturer of manual household appliances in all the countries of the former SFRY territory. In view of the fact that the company already does business with all the mentioned countries, mostly with Croatia, followed by Serbia and Montenegro, especially with Kosovo, and Macedonia, our mid-term vision seems to be feasible shortly. In the long-term, we wish to conquer as large as possible part of the European Union market and acquire the ISO 9002 Quality Label.   

In 2005, we exported approximately 70 % of our products. Every year, the export is increasing.
 
Our prices are not the lowest, however, the price – quality ratio is a good deal higher than that of the competition. On the Slovene market, we are acquiring experience which we will use with benefits on the foreign markets. We improve the quality of business by employing new staff in addition to providing education for the existent staff.  

At the POCAJT company, we are constantly modernizing our products, so that they are made of new, better, quality, less expensive and nicer materials appearing on the market. We strive for their beautiful design and a more pleasant packaging. We invest a lot in the modernization of production, i.e. replacement and improvement of the technologies which enable a more inexpensive, environment-friendly and safer production.

Despite the increasingly faster pace of life and constant occupation of people we are certain that household appliances will still be used in the future. Our important advantages in comparison to the competition are reputation, recognizability and characteristics of our products. We have acquired the reputation mainly with the practicability, simple use and long life expectancy of our appliances and other products. The housewives are familiar with our products and like to give them praise. Therefore, the fact that they are passed from one generation to another is not surprising. We offer our buyers quality service and a warranty, which present a great advantage before the competition. 

Our company is successful and has great potential for the future. The advantages of our products and the interest of the Western market in their purchase present our opportunity on the path of conquering new markets. Our great potential is also shown in the increase of the market share on the already existent markets.
